Is this regex / pattern matching?
No. It replaces plain text occurrences. If you need regex, you can use a code editor, but for quick edits this tool is safer.
What does “case sensitive” mean?
When enabled, “Apple” and “apple” are treated as different. When disabled, the tool matches regardless of letter case.
Will it replace inside words?
Yes. If you search for “cat”, it will match “concatenate”. Choose a more specific find string if needed.
Does it change spacing or formatting?
Only the matched text is replaced. Use “Remove Extra Spaces” or “Trim Text” if you need formatting cleanup.
